Learn how to add revenue with Stratocast video surveillance
Have you added video surveillance to your product portfolio yet? Security cameras allows you to expand the products and services each customer buys from you, meet the growing demand for video monitoring, and help your customers close security holes in their businesses. If you haven’t added a camera option yet, come learn how to make money with security cameras at our Stratocast Webinar on March 28th.
Stratocast is a cloud-based video surveillance and storage offering from the world’s leading manufacturer of premise-based video systems (Genetec). We started offering security cameras eighteen months ago because it represented a new revenue stream to take to our customer base. We chose Stratocast because they are the leader in this space. Here’s how customers benefit from their products:
  • Video surveillance gives businesses evidence to refer back to after a crime or on-site event has happened. Because Stratocast streams all video feeds to offsite storage, cloud-based security offers obvious benefits over an on-premise system (that can be damaged or removed by an offender).
  • Video systems allow company leaders to monitor their businesses remotely. Because Stratocast is web-based, subscribers can monitor all cameras from anywhere with an Internet connection, on any device.
  • Because Genetec is a world-leader in video surveillance software and systems, they bring additional capabilities to the Stratocast subscriber beyond simple access to see a camera from a web browser. New business intelligence tools, for example, add features like providing foot-traffic counts, cash-drawer monitoring, and proof-of-shipment snapshots.
Premise-based systems are an out-of reach expense for many small to mid-size companies. Off-the-shelf internet-based cameras are notoriously insecure and adding them to a local-area network opens up security holes hackers and scammers are just waiting to exploit. The Stratocast subscription model (a monthly fee per camera with unlimited access to the storage and management portal) makes video surveillance affordable for businesses with as few as one camera. The use of Stratocast-approved cameras assures that data security integrity is maintained at business-grade levels.

It’s time to go to school on Stratocast
To help you expand into this new territory, we are holding a webinar to answer your questions about the Stratocast cloud-based video-surveillance system. You’ll learn:
  • How adding cameras to your customers small office can create a lucrative additional revenue stream for you.
  • Why customers are ditching store-bought web cams and DVR systems in favor of Stratocast’s secure, cloud-based video system.
  • How Stratocast is being used by customer to gather valuable business intelligence so they can smarter, more-efficient companies.
  • Five kinds of perfect customer for the Stratocast cameras.
  • We’ll review the buy-rates and revenue model for video-surveillance as a subscription-based service.
  • Learn how to quote Stratocast.
Anyone who attends will also learn about a free demo-account program with Stratocast that allows you to connect and remote monitor up to four camera connections of your own (or to use as a proof-of-concept with a prospective customer).
